It can be confusing working out what you need to order when you don&#8217;t know what splicing, whipping, and tonnes of other words we&#8217;re throwing at you actually mean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">We want to help our customers and make buying from us as easy as possible. So, with that in mind, here are some key terms we use at ropelocker that cause the most head scratching and shoulder shrugging among our strong enough to lift tonnes of weight without breaking<\/li><li>very versatile &#8211; used in sailing, recovery vehicles, rigging and more<\/li><li>we stock a wide range of Dyneema products &#8211; Dyneema core combined with a 32 plait polyester cover<\/li><li>Dyneema is often confused with <a aria-label=\"HMPE (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ropelocker.co.uk\/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&amp;search_in_description=1&amp;keyword=hmpe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HMPE<\/a> &#8211; both
